Connection Charges

As of 1 April 2026, all network load connections will incur a charge.

On application, your connection will be assessed, and the Connection Charge Type will be advised.

There are four Connection Charge Types:

  • Basic Connection
  • Moderate Capacity
  • High Capacity
  • Custom Connection

A quote will be sent for all Custom Connections. Reconciliation Calculations are able to be requested once the connection has been quoted.

Westpower will review its Connection Charges annually.
